Carmo Garden
Taipa Municipal Garden was built in 1955 in Taipa Island. The garden is considered as one of the eight iconic attractions in Macau representing Carmo area with rich historical value under the recognition of the Macau government. Alongside the mountain sets the Carmo Church and Taipa Houses Museum, with pathways connected to Taipa Village. Nearby the garden there are recreational facilities such as swimming pool and municipal library. The garden also features the statue of the Portuguese poet Carmoes, a small fountain and peripheral shade.
