Mok Yei Kei
“Mok Yei Kei” first began as a street vendor stall, they had gone through relocations, and eventually established its own store at Rua Do Cunha. The time-honoured dessert brand has over 80 years of history. Today, the shop is meticulously managed by Mr. and Mrs. Mok, who successfully keep up with the times by upgrading their product packaging from simple plastic bags to more sophisticated packaging that appeals to younger customers.
Despite spanning multiple eras, they have never wavered in their dedication to their products and their initial intentions. They insist on developing and creating new products themselves, striving for perfection. Currently, the store offers more than 10 flavours of Agar Agar jelly, the famous durian and bird’s nest series, coupled with the egg waffles and bottled milk tea to satiate the taste of the young genres. Significantly, all of their ingredients used in the store are genuine and products are carefully made every morning.
“Mok Yei Kei” dares to innovate, meticulously in producing its products, and always adheres to using genuine ingredients. This is the belief passing through three generations of the family. Fresh fruits are delivered to the shop daily, and a variety of handmade ice cream and desserts are available in diverse flavours, perfectly capture the essence of the fruits. In addition, the shop offers numerous delicious dessert options, such as the popular Serradura Pudding, Agar Agar Jelly, and the Malaysian Musang King Durian Ice Cream. Thus, people are tasting the sincerity of the shop in every single bite.
