Sam Po Temple
Sam Po Temple was built in 1845 and was renovated later. Similar to the Kun Iam Cave in Taipa, Sam Po Temple is also a cave with an idol placed inside.
It is also said that the Temple of Sam Po was built in the twentieth fifth year of the Daoguang Reign(1845) and rebuilt during Xianfeng Reign. Now in the temple there still is a stone tablet inscribed in Taoist characters of Xianfeng Reign. The temple has a similar origin of the Small Temple of Kun Iam of Taipa, with its idols placed in a narrow cave.
